I'm a PhD student at Ecole Centrale Nantes, and the VELO team of the LS2N lab. My work focuses on the use of inductive logic programming for the inference of hospital-acquired pneumonia biomarkers, under the supervision of Morgan Magnin (Pr, HDR) and Tony Ribeiro (Dr). This PhD is funded by the European Homi-Lung project.
I'm passionate about systems biology, a huge scrabble enthusiast (I can beat your grandma) and I sketch in my free time. A fun fact about me is that I watched Samurai Champloo 11 times, and I still love it.
After almost 2 years of apprenticeship in the COMIC project, I'm now starting a PhD at Ecole Centrale Nantes, and the LS2N lab, under the supervision of Morgan Magnin and Tony Ribeiro. The PhD will focus on the use of inductive logic programming and LFIT, for the inference of hospital-acquired pneumonia biomarkers.
I'm proud to annonce that I won the best oral presentation award of the 2025 JOBIM conference, an award and grant annually given by the French Bio-informatic Society (SFBI).
The research we conducted with Inria Bordeaux, INRAE, MNHN, and the Sorbonne-Roscoff marine station, has just been accepted for a talk at the 2025 JOBIM conference !
I finished my first year of Master and soon my summer internship with INRAE Clermont. But I will be back for the same project in November, at the Inria Bordeaux Center which has hosted me until now and will host me for 1 more year :D !!!
I presented a Poster at the Journées Ouvertes de Biologie, Informatique et Mathématiques conference at Toulouse, France. It was selected to be highlighted the openning day with a flash presentation of 3 minutes.
